VHE is a fast-growing high-tech company with 200 employees that is broadening its activities and also has international ambitions. For this dynamic environment, we are looking for an enterprising and proactive Production Manager who is responsible for the department ‘project assembly’. The Production Manager is part of the Operations Team and reports to the Engineering Manager. You manage approximately 20 mechanics and 4 work planners on a daily basis and determine the policy of the department in consultation with the Engineering Manager. You jointly advise the management with regard to the policy of the department and the feasibility of customer wishes. In addition, you actively contribute to the next steps in the departmental strategy. Thanks to VHE’s growth and professionalization, the Production Manager is given room to further develop his position. Further structuring of the department and management of competencies are key concepts in this.

You have at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years of experience in a (functional) managerial position within technology, you are ready for the next career step. You have demonstrable experience within a project organization. You have strong coaching skills, a clear vision and excellent communication skills. You have a sense of commerce and can convey this to your team. You are able to implement changes and improvements together with the organization. You like to shape your own initiatives and ideas to improve the production processes.
